Brief Bio
I am a graduate of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin (Agro-ecologist, 1995-200), Candidate of Biological Sciences (Ecology, 2013), Post Doctorate student (at the present time).
I have more than 20 years of experience in the fields of agriculture (education, science, consulting, expertise), small business, marketing, export, climate change adaptation, rural development, rural infrastructure and pasture management, etc.
From 1999 to 2014, I worked as a Leading Specialist of the Center for Distance Education and Professional Development, Associate Professor of Agro-monitoring and Agroecology at the International Master's Center, Associate Professor at the Department Melioration, the Secretary of Academic Board, the Technical Secretary of the Dissertation Board, Senior Researcher at the Science Department, Specialist at the Education Department, Head of the Department for Records Management, Laboratory Assistant at the Department for Zootechnology of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin.
From 2014 to 2015, I worked as the Head of Marketing Department and Project Manager at the Public Association “AgroLead”, a local agricultural consulting company. I supervised 6 projects supported by Helvetas, UNDP, EBDD, Aga Khan Foundation, etc. I organized 3 District Festivals, published more than 100 booklets for farmers, conducted 5 marketing researches for local products (honey, apples, post-projects social-economic achievements, etc.), provided support to local business company “Agro Export Service” to enhance export potential for horse placenta development. I had supported company to export 7 tons of frozen horse placenta to Japan. I prepared booklets embodying information on collection, freezing and exporting horse placenta. I provided support in obtaining State Authorship Certificate (from Kyrgyz patent) for the collection, storage, freezing and exporting the horse placenta. By virtue of my support to Agro Export Service, company received the state award "Best Exporter of the Narnian Region".
Since December 2015, I have been working as a National Program Policy Officer on Climate Change Adaptation and Environmental Protection and an Expert on Climate Change Adaptation, Agricultural and Small Business Development at the UN World Food Programme in the Kyrgyz Republic Country Office. I have prepared 68 training modules for farmers, 9 technological instructions and 7 posters on standards of hygiene etc. On agricultural processing, I have launched on pilot basis the National System for Transfer of Skills, Knowledge and Practices for Small Farmers (SKaP). I set up 24 mini processing workshops in 5 regions of Kyrgyzstan (four types of processing: drying and canning of fruits and vegetables, milk and wool processing). I provided 53 consultations to local communities. I also prepared and printed four books for local authorities, farmers and field monitors, and the books contain 100+ ideas for small business in the Kyrgyzstan, glossary on climate change adaptation, review of best practices for adaptation to climate change at the local level, and a guide to adaptation to climate change at the local level (for veterinary associations, water user associations and pasture committees). I was part of team for preparing project proposal for GCF, etc.

I am an author and co-author of more than 500 articles, posters, textbooks, guidance and extension materials for students, farmers, local authorities and field monitors. In 2006 and 2012, I received from Kyrgyz patent six Authorship Certificates on student textbooks and a 3rd degree diploma from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for the best agricultural textbook (co-authored). I speak Russian and English, understand German and Kyrgyz.
