“MAMA-86-Yaremche” is a non-profit, non-governmental environmental organization. It was established in 2000 in Yaremche Ivano-Frankivsk region (Ukraine). Our goal is to promote sustainable development of Ukraine. The activities of “MAMA-86-Yaremche” are aimed at creating conditions for transition of Ukraine to sustainable development with a special focus on addressing complex environmental challenges.

- Greening policy and daily life;
- Water and Sanitation;
- Chemical Security;
- Natural resources protection and conservation.
We are a member of Ukrainian NGO “MAMA-86” that unites 19 organizations from different regions of Ukraine. We are focused on promoting public participation in environmental policy-making encouraging greening policy and practice as well as Eurointegration reforms in Ukraine. We successfully combine information campaign with practical solutions to solve specific problems and to create positive examples (small waste water treatment construction, drinking water wells cleaning, installation of drinking water purification system for schools, construction of solid waste separation sites, dry eco-san toilets building, solar collectors installation, Green Laboratory establishing etc.).
During our activity we have established relations with different sectors of social society. We promote sustainable water consumption and sanitation, energy efficiency, proper waste management, biodiversity conservation. We organize seminars, workshops, conferences, public hearings and other awareness raising activities on urgent environmental issues. We have experience to work at local, regional, national levels and many times we presented our results on International levels.
