Hutsulshchyna National Park
HutsulshchynaNational Nature Park was created by the Decree of the President of Ukraine on May 14, 2002. It is located within the Kosiv district of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, the length of the Park from the northwest to the south-east is about 29 km, and from the northeaster to the southwest - 20 km.
Hutsulshchyna is a unique, picturesque pearl of our country, and a distinctive, bright, colorful ethnic branch of the Ukrainian nation, this is the National Natural Park, as well as a number of creative associations, unions, collectives, editions, etc. Derived from this word are numerous proper names (place names, hydronyms, anthroponyms, etc.), names of works of art, literature, household items, species and breeds of animals and plants. The reason for such intense attention and widespread use of the words Hutsulshchyna, Hutsul, and so on are, first of all, unique, surprisingly vivid and distinctive material and spiritual culture of the autochthonous population - Hutsuls.
The most ancient craft, traditions, customs, elements of the archaic spiritual and material culture, knowledge, preservation and reproduction of which have an important national and universal significance are the most fully preserved in Hutsulshchyna. The surviving elements and goals of the stratum of ethnocultural heritage are relics of the pro-Ukrainian culture, whose roots reach the Trypillya era and more deeply. This is evidenced by numerous materials of archaeological, linguistic and artistic-cultural studies. The picturesque landscapes, the rich nature and original cultural heritage of the local ethnos contributed to the creation of the so-called "Hutsul phenomenon", the preservation and reproduction of which is an urgent problem of the present.
Actually, in order to preserve the reproduction and rational use of genetic resources of flora and fauna, unique natural complexes and ethno-cultural environment, which have a special nature conservation, recreational, historical, scientific, cognitive, educational, educational, aesthetic and recreational value, the National Natural Park " Hutsulshchyna "(Decree of the President of Ukraine dated May 14, 2002). The park is located within the Kosiv district of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast and covers an area of 32,248 hectares, of which 7581 hectares of land are provided to the Park for permanent use, and 24,667 hectares are included in its composition without withdrawal from land users. The length of the Park from the northwest to the south-east is about 29 km, and from the northeaster to the southwest - 20 km.
